My teeth were always an issue. I had a car wreck that plagued my long term dental health, and I was insecure about dealing with it. In the end, I needed several different major dental procedures to deal with this. Dr. Wilkinson worked me to develop a plan to not only get those procedures done, but to help me feel confident in my smile in the end. I would have NEVER posted a photo of my teeth for anyone to see before him. But after implants, bridges, and cleanings, I am proud to show off what these guys helped me achieve. You will NOT leave their office feeling embarrassed, ashamed, or defeated. You will leave after your first visit feeling as though these guys are passionate about dental health, and can't wait to bring you into the fold. From the front office, to the hygienists, you will feel respected, heard, and technically cared for at all points on the way. Through several procedures, there were times that I had issues arise, how Dr. Wilkinson handled those, and provided EXCELLENT communication and patient care made me realize that he isn't just in his field as a career. He lives and breaths dental work. You will be taken care of with a friendly atmosphere, a true genuine desire to serve a need, and if you run into a complication, there is no one better to have in your corner than this staff. Let's be honest, no one likes going to the dentist especially when complicated dental work needs to be done. And it's hard to find a dental practice and a dentist that you can trust and puts your anxieties at ease. Either you like the office/the staff and the dentist doesn't have a great bedside manner. Or the dentist is great but the facilities are out of date and shabby. There is always something that doesn't check all the boxes and you end up settling in some way. Not this place. Shallowford Smiles checks all the boxes. It is immediately welcoming with its super cute decor and fully stocked lobby coffee bar. There is even a mini fridge with bottled water. For you mamas the bathroom has a baby changing table which is rare to see in a dental office. The place is bright, warm, clean, and welcoming! It has state of the art equipment and nothing about this dental office feels antiquated. Dr. Wilkinson is friendly, funny, and truly cares about your comfort. He took the time to explain what he was doing and even gave me a recommendation to see an oral surgeon after he caught something in my x-ray that needed addressing. This goes beyond the scope of the work he was asked to do. My only complaint is that I don't live close enough to his office to be a regular patient, but I would make the trek to get treatment at his office again if something did come up. This is truly a gem of a dental office and Dr. Wilkinson is an amazing doctor!

Dr. Wilkinson did a great job on my root canal a month or so ago. I switched over to his practice for my cleaning and Alexis just finished cleaning my teeth. She was wonderful. I found my new dentist
